Located in West-Central Arkansas, the upper section of the Ouachita River winds its way through the picturesque Ouachita National Forest. Flowing through the valleys beneath breathtaking cliffs and high ridges of the Ouachita mountains, the river finds its way to Lake Ouachita, known as one of the clearest lakes in the world.
 
Ancient boulders, gigantic slate bluffs, gravel bars for picnics, deep clear holes of clean water for swimming, exciting rapids, wildlife, fish, birds, trees and wildflowers blooming in season and hiking trails make this area an excellent place for all kinds of ourdoor activities.

• From Fort Smith-Waldron: Hwy 71 South to Y-City, left on Hwy 270 East (towards Hot Springs) to Pencil Bluff.We are on the left next to the Post Office.
