Comments: 515 restored wetland acres from commercial wild rice operation near Embarrass, MN and adjacent to the Embarrass River. Site now owned by MnDNR, transferred from Sponsor with a Corps-approved management plan added as part of ownership transfer. DNR may eventually pursue funding to remove some of the internal dikes of the site that were retained from teh wild rice operation in the original approved plan. The removal of dikes is part of the DNR site management plan that was approved by the Corps in 2009 (MVP-2006-04773-TWP) - DNR estimated that dike removal would increase, by about 40 acres, the total number of wetland acres on the site.
