Originally from the Northeast, Margitta made New Orleans her permanent home in 2007. She earned dual undergraduate degrees in art and physics from Stony Brook University in New York and seized the opportunity to merge her two very separate passions in a Master of Architecture at Tulane University. She started her career with work on large-scale federal projects and advanced by working on mixed-use, multi-family, and commercial projects varying in scale. At Trapolin-Peer, she applies her architectural expertise, LEED AP certification, and commitment to sustainability on the firm’s cutting-edge historic renovations.
