The Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service has been helping Oklahoman's improve their lives since 1914. By taking the knowledge gained from scientific research at Oklahoma State University and other land-grant colleges to the people of Oklahoma, Extension has worked to increase agricultural productivity and profitability; promote better family relationships, nutrition, and health; provide better community services; and encourage the development of our youth.
OSU County Extension offices throughout the state put citizens in touch with research-based information from Oklahoma State University and the entire land-grant university system. This three-way county, state, and federal partnership has resulted in an effective and flexible organization -- one that is designed to meet the changing needs of the state's citizens while continuing to fulfill its historic role in improving the quality of life for all of the people of the state.
