Acorn is currently a leader among forestry companies in the southeast specializing in prescribed burning, reforestation, and timberland management. Acorn was started back in 1997 and incorporated in 1999 in Huntsville, TX by Justin Penick. Tree planting, herbicide application, and prescribed burning were among our first services and we have stayed true to those ever since, while adding other services to further assist our clientele. Acorn moved from Huntsville to Lufkin in 2003 and our current home office in Hudson, TX was built and opened in early 2010.
