Mission

The Mississippi Horse Park's purpose is to provide unprecedented entertainment and service for exhibitors as well as spectators with the intentions of yielding goodwill for the Horse Park, Mississippi State University, Oktibbeha County and the City of Starkville. The MS Horse Park is a division of MSU Extension Service.

Set atop the rolling hills, the MS Horse Park is a beautiful 100 acre facility that is a unique partnership of the City of Starkville, Oktibbeha County and Mississippi State University. Located just south of the Mississippi State University main campus, the Horse Park hosts an average of 40 events a year and has over 40,000 people come through the gates each year. Not only does the Horse Park offer a variety of fantastic events but it is also dedicated to supporting weekly labs and classes taught through the university.
