NOLA Green Roots continues our mission build sustainable communities through gardening by teaching local gardeners how to grow fresh fruits and vegetables sustainably. Each year we provide training to hundreds of residents of Greater New Orleans.

Our workshops include how to build greenhouses and raised beds, composting dos and don’ts, soil testing, growing seasonal plants, utilizing rain barrels, and more.

From kids and young adults to seniors, all enjoy learning new growing techniques, and incorporating them into their home and community garden projects.
