We invite you to visit and experience a true Maine tradition, the sporting camp, just as it was enjoyed back before WWII and before the advent of modern conveniences. Don’t worry though; we have hot and cold running water and toilets! You can even surf the web at the Nicatous Lodge.

Come for a day of fishing, for some lazy paddling on the lake; come for some hunting or bird watching, or simply to read a book by the Lake or by the wood stove or the fireplace. We can accommodate all of this and more at the Nicatous Lodge. But please come ready for a deep Maine Woods experience: off the grid, remote, and at the end of a long dirt road. Come prepared.
