For five decades, NAAEE has served as the professional association, champion, and backbone organization for the field of environmental education, working with a diverse group of educators in the US, Canada, and Mexico to advance environmental education. Environmental education focuses on learners of all ages, the importance of experiential, interdisciplinary education, developing problem-solving and decision-making skills, promoting civic engagement, and creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable society.
