We are a federally mandated, local entity under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development designed to provide natural resource information and technical assistance to Oakland County residents, municipalities, and governments. Our primary source of funding is through our Spring Tree Sale. Those tree sales allow us to partner with other natural resource organizations and cooperate with Oakland County Parks and Recreation and MSU Extension on their projects.
We are a local organization here to support YOU and your neighbors. If you need information about soil, water, or other natural resources, we can help. Working to educate and demonstrate good soil and water conservation practices to residents, we supply the knowledge and tools they need to better manage their natural resources. We are an effective gateway for connecting homeowners with the conservation providers they need to make environmentally sound decisions.
