Dr. Keating grew up in Seabrook, Texas, a suburb of Houston. As a child, he enjoyed all sorts of outdoor activities, including spending time with his golden retriever, Sonny. It was his deep bond with Sonny that ignited his life-long love for animals that, combined with his aptitude in medical science, motivated Dr. Keating to become a veterinarian. After attaining a bachelor of arts in zoology, he achieved his dream of becoming a veterinarian when he graduated from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He worked at other veterinary clinics in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth area for several years before purchasing Trinity Pet Hospital in Carrollton, Texas in February of 2003.
