Working in partnership with landowners to conserve and link natural areas, agricultural lands, wildlife habitat, cultural properties, trails, and scenic open space in the Mid-Yellowstone River drainage.
Our work is focused on the Beartooth Front to the west and extends down the Yellowstone, Stillwater, Rock Creek and Clark Fork drainages to Billings. Our wild places and working lands define our regional character and attract visitors from near and far to this gateway to wilderness country and Yellowstone National Park. Peaks and Prairies Land Trust works to ensure that this unique landscape we call home retains its rural and scenic character even as it attracts more and more residents and development. With the support of our neighbors and partners, we can protect what we love, forever, before it's too late.
