Peter Mills, III was born in Farmington, Maine. After graduating with honors from Harvard College, Mr. Mills served in the Navy for five years and spent three tours in Vietnam. He returned to Maine to attend the University of Maine School of Law where he was an editor of the Maine Law Review. Peter graduated second in the Maine Law class of 1973. For the next nine years he tried major civil cases throughout Maine for a large Portland law firm.
In 1982 he joined Carl Wright in Skowhegan, where he focused on resolving a wide range of legal disputes, including personal injury, divorce and workers’ compensation claims. He has particular expertise in real estate and construction contract matters. Peter represented architects and engineers throughout the State of Maine on matters relating to the safe design of buildings and other structures.
