WVU’s Preston County Extension Office is part of the national land-grant system. Each office has the same mission as its foundation: to help people put knowledge to work. Each WVU Extension Office can provide the public with information on many topics from many resources. The Preston County Extension Office faculty and staff provide assistance and educational programs in the following areas: Agriculture & Natural Resources, 4-H & Youth Development, Families & Health, and Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS). To meet and support the needs of local people and communities, county faculty and staff involve local residents in developing and leading specific programs and activities.
