She joined Animal Medical Center of Plano in June of 2015. Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, neurology, ophthalmology, and preventative medicine. Dr. Cook has a passion for the human-animal bond: the special relationship between pets and their people. She has had many special dogs and cats in her life and understands that they are family. She looks forward to developing lifelong relationships with her clients, their families, and their furry friends through education, collaboration, and open communication. Dr. Cook particularly enjoys the educational aspect of her profession, taking time to listen to her clients and making sure they understand their pets' medical needs. She appreciates how unique and different each day is in the veterinary hospital, finds her work, patients, and clients very fulfilling, and genuinely likes to study and keep up with the latest changes in the veterinary world.
