Richard (Dick) Gilmore holds a B.S. Degree in Agricultural Economics from Ohio State University. He has been a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) since 1989 and received his ARA designation in 1995. In 2010 he was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Society of Appraisers and was awarded the FASA designation. He is also a designated member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and holds the Fellows or FRICS designation.
Dick’s appraisal experience includes farms, ranches, and all types of specialized agricultural and commercial industrial agricultural related assets. Dick also has extensive experience valuing agricultural production related machinery, equipment, inventories, receivables and intangible assets. He was employed by Cobank and the Farm Credit Bank of Springfield as a credit reviewer and appraiser for thirty years.
Dick provides financial consulting to agribusinesses and agricultural producers nationwide. He is a nationally recognized risk management expert and speaks to agricultural and finance groups nationally as well as internationally with recent presentations and teaching in China. He is a banking and finance consultant specialist in the field of agriculture.
