A third generation resident of Fresno County, Robert Wiebe has made a lifetime commitment to Fresno.

 

Graduating from Fresno State University in 1976 with a bachelor of science in accounting, Robert’s first experiences in his chosen field included a two-year stint with the IRS. There, he learned IRS operations and procedures, audit, collections, and the administration of income tax.

 

Robert’s work in public accounting began in 1976 when he became a tax partner at a Fresno firm. With indispensable real estate industry experience under his belt Robert chose to open an independent practice in 1991. After a merger and partnership for several years Robert’s practise evolved into Wiebe Hinton Hambalek, LLP.

 

Robert’s far-reaching experience in the real estate industry and consulting for closely held businesses serves clients involved in many areas. Robert keeps abreast of emerging real estate and tax planning opportunities on a national basis. Examples include real estate development, subdivision projects, property management, brokerage, and construction. General practice specialties include partnership negotiations, tax planning, estate planning, business consulting, business valuations, and litigation support. Robert is an industry expert in complex 1031 Exchanges.

 

Robert continues the legacy of farming the family farm that was first owned by his grandfather. Robert has been active in many community organizations over the years and most recently has become involved with the Fresno Historical Society, Family Alliance for the Mentally Ill, and Fresno Survivors of Suicide groups. Robert and his wife enjoy travelling to visit their children and grandchild.
