Rum Creek WMA

Rum Creek Wildlife Management Area is located in Monroe County. The 5,884-acre property has hunting opportunities for deer, turkey, small game, dove, waterfowl, and coyote.
Lake Juliette is a 3,600-acre reservoir operated by Georgia Power that is surrounded by the Rum Creek WMA and is adjacent to the Rum Creek MARSH project, a refuge area for wintering waterfowl. The most common species of ducks found on the lake include ring-necked ducks, lesser scaup, teal, and mallards. Canada geese also can be found feeding on open points scattered around the lake. No waterfowl hunting west of Ebenezer Road, except that youth may hunt waterfowl between Ebenezer and Juliette Roads in the designated Youth Area.
No motor in excess of 25 hp may be operated on Lake Juliette.
