The Salida Field Office of the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) is one of 18 field offices in Colorado. It is administered by the Alamosa Field Office.
Our mission is to achieve stewardship of Colorado’s diverse forest environments for the benefit of present and future generations.
At the Salida Field Office, we fill a variety of professional and technical roles for private landowners and communities in both forest and urban settings. Trees are our specialty, from small to large, with needles or leaves. Our desire is to help people be good stewards of the land.
