Scotland Road VPA is a 199-acre area first leased in 2020 that provides deer, small game and turkey opportunities. There is no coyote or hog seasons on this property. Hunters utilizing this area for deer or turkey hunting should be sure to check their game using Georgia Game Check and select Public Land option, Laurens County, and then Scotland Road VPA.
Voluntary Public Access Area
Scotland Road VPA is a Voluntary Public Access (VPA) property. Since 2014, the Wildlife Resources Division has been able to enhance and add to its WMA program through additional temporary agreements with private landowners for public hunting opportunities thanks to a USDA grant.
Directions
From Dublin, take Highway 441 south of I-16 for 2.6 miles to Scotland Road on the left. Proceed down Scotland Road approximately 6 miles and turn left on Anderson Road. Go 0.6 mile, take left on Fountain Drive and go another 0.5 mile to Rozier Lane on the left. Take Rozier Lane to end of road and follow roads around old homesite to property.
