The Mission of the Scott Bar Fire Safe Council is to protect residential values and natural resources from catastrophic fire in cooperation with private and public landowners.
The Scott Bar Fire Safe Council is located along the Scott River and includes an area from Kelsey Creek down Scott River to the confluence with the Klamath River.
The Scott Bar Fire Safe Council was established in the fall of 2004 by a group of area landholders, both private and public, concerned about the risks of catastrophic fire.
