Stearns Drilling Company opened for business in 1977. We provide drilling services. Our main service areas are Environmental, Geotechnical, Geothermal, Water Supply Drilling, Well Service or Repair and Well Rehabilitation.

We use the hollow stem auger, sonic, direct push, air rotary, and mud rotary drilling methods.

We conduct most of our work in Michigan and the Midwest.  We work nationwide for some projects, particularly in our sonic drilling service area.

We are licensed in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, New York, Louisiana and Texas.

We are insured with commercial general liability, automobile liability, worker's compensation, employer's liability, contractor's equipment coverage and pollution liability coverage.
