Stephen Flanagan is a member of the Appraisal Institute having earned the highest designation, MAI. He is certified by the State of Connecticut as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.

He has been active in the field of appraisal since 1981 and a full time appraiser since 1984.

Mr. Flanagan has experience in performing development rights appraisals for the State of Connecticut Land Acquisition and Management since 1986 and has been performing appraisals on conservation easements since 1990.

Mr. Flanagan has completed a week-long course entitled "Valuation of Conservation Easements Certification Program" developed by the Appraisal Institute, the Land Trust Alliance, and various other appraisal organizations. 

Staff appraisers bring over 20 years experience in land use to include planning, design, layout, and subdivision analysis.  Our primary area of focus is the state of Connecticut.  Clients include private property owners, attorneys, local land trusts, and national land trust organizations.
