HFI Consultants is a Forestry and Land Use Consulting Firm serving the Pacific Northwest. We serve landowners seeking to evaluate and manage their forests and agricultural lands. Our cliental includes timber companies, small private tree farms, trusts, estates, conservation groups, financial institutions, land appraisers and power companies.

The principles of HFI are brothers David and Timothy Halme, with over 60 years of combined experience in forest and facilities management. Dave recently retired in 2018 but is still working with HFI on some special projects. Timothy Halme has earned an Associate of Science degree in Forest Technology from Green River Community College and has served the Forest Industry for over 30 years as an Industrial Forester in the Pacific Northwest, primarily with Plum Creek Timber Company and Olympic Resource Management.
