Tony Kamand Jr., MAI is the managing partner in the firm. He has been in the appraisal field since 1986. Tony holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a State Certified General Appraiser in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Tony has done work in almost every state in the country. The Appraisal Institute offers both the MAI (commercial real estate) and SRA (residential real estate) appraisal designations. Designated members of the Appraisal Institute are known around the world for their knowledge and experience as well as their unbiased and objective approach to real property analysis. Achieving an Appraisal Institute professional designation is not easy. In fact, fewer than 15% of all licensed/certified appraisers in the World have earned the right to be called a designated member (i.e. MAI or SRA).
