Dr. Phillips-Jenkins is originally from Tahlequah, Oklahoma - a town about the size of Levelland, surrounded by land and livestock. Her parents, retired teachers, encouraged her early loves of medicine and animals, leading her to pursue both a BS in Biology and her DVM from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Jenkins took over an existing practice in Levelland in 1996, and through the years has expanded CAAC into what it is today. She loves spending time with her three kids, pictured here, and she considers her employees and her clients family, as well! Her favorite veterinary procedures include chemotherapy and surgeries, and her favorite case has been the successful treatment of osteosarcoma in her own best buddy, Amos, a Bernese Mountain Dog.
