He represents institutional investors, joint ventures and individual owners of all sizes in acquisitions and dispositions, financing, development, leasing, condominium and common interest community formation, joint venture documentation and property management matters. He advises and negotiates on behalf of landlords and tenants in leasing negotiations for office, retail and industrial properties. Development projects include office, residential, retail, mixed use and warehouse, including commercial and residential condominiums. Acquisition and financing transactions have covered all property types, including landmark buildings, 20+ building portfolios, land assemblages and ground leases. He represents production home builders in urban and suburban plat acquisition and development of single family and multifamily projects. He is experienced in employing creative condominium, ground lease and tax-deferred exchange structures for favorable tax treatment. Travis also maintains a practice advising Pacific Northwest land trusts in land conservation transactions.
