Vision Statement
We envision a healthy future through the promotion and application of sustainable strategies to the built environment.
The U.S. Green Building Council Idaho Chapter promotes the principles of sustainable design, construction and operation in buildings to create a better quality of life in Idaho.
Our organization is made up of a diverse group of individuals including architects, landscape designers, engineers, contractors, educators, government officials, product manufacturers, students, developers, interior designers, building operators, appraisers, realtors and more.
We are led by a dedicated board of directors and engage the public through initiatives undertaken by the many active volunteer members of our committees. Our monthly board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Ada County Courthouse, 200 Front St, in Boise. Monthly committee meetings occur in the USGBC Idaho conference room at 523 W. Front St., Boise. Anyone interested in helping advance green building in Idaho is invited to attend committee meetings and encouraged to get involved through volunteering.
