Mission:
to halt and reverse the depletion of the state’s soil resources and pollution of its waters.
The LWCD personnel are responsible for administering policices and programs set forth by the LWCC. They serve to advise and inform the LWCC on conservation matters, prepare work plans and budgets, seek grant monies for programs, and provide technical assistance to the public.
