Vinton County
The Ohio State University Extension Office in Vinton County is levy funded and has 3 main areas of focus:
4-H, YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Community Clubs – In 2009, we had about 500 members and volunteers in Vinton County 4-H, and 32 Clubs throughout the county.
Junior Leaders/ Junior Fairboard – 4-H members that are 14 years old and older can participate in the Junior Leaders/ Junior Fairboard program. Members help plan activities for all Vinton County youth at the fair, and for the Cloverbud Day Camp.
EFNEP
EFNEP is a nutrition education program that targets low income mothers with children from birth to 18 years of age and who are responsible for the day to day food selection and preparation for the family.
