Dr. Wendy Day lived and grew up in Baton Rouge and learned early in life that her passion was working with animals. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in 2002, she married her high school sweetheart, Rusty Day. In 2008, she received her Doctorate Degree from LSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine where she also was selected for the honorable duties of caring for Mike the Tiger V and VI during her third and fourth year of school. After graduation, she moved to Zachary and practiced mixed animal medicine for 4 years. She then continued to practice small animal medicine and emergency animal medicine in Baton Rouge and now calls St. Francisville home.
