Mission
To encourage responsible natural resource management and to implement conservation goals which improve air, soil, and water quality while improving wildlife habitat. To educate both youth and adults about our local conservation practices and needs.
The West Cassia Soil and Water Conservation District was organized in 1958. Priorities are animal waste management, information & education, irrigated cropland, pasture/hayland, water quality-ground water and surface water and water resources and erosion control. This year an awards banquet was held to honor a Cooperator of the Year and Rancher of the Year.
