Weston Forest & Trail Association was formed in 1955 to protect and enhance Weston's treasured open space resources for everyone's enjoyment. Today we own more than 200 acres of conservation land and easements and maintain more than 100 miles of trails in the Town of Weston.
Weston Forest & Trail Association also has extensive stewardship responsibilities. We monitor dozens of conservation restrictions and easements left in our care by generous donors who wanted the land kept in its natural state for posterity to enjoy. Occasionally we have found it necessary to enforce inadvertent (or sometimes deliberate) encroachments on these protected spaces, so that our precious environment is preserved.
