Whitehall WMA consists of approximately 111 acres in Poinsett County and is located about 1.5 miles west of the intersection of Hwy 1 and Hwy 214. The northern boundary of this small WMA joins Hwy 214 and the L’ Anguille River flows through the western half of the WMA. A large portion of the WMA was once divided into ponds and utilized for fish farming. Inundation of the ponds is controlled by natural overflow from the adjacent river. Small game and waterfowl hunting is the most common recreational use of this area.
