Dr. William R. Harlin is the owner and practicing veterinarian for Countryside Animal Medical Center, establishing the practice in 1988 as Everman Area Veterinary Clinic before building a new facility and moving to the current location. Prior to opening his own practice, he worked for 5 years in Sterling City, Texas for Dr. Don McDonald, DVM owner of the McDonald Equine and Surgical Center. Dr. Harlin is originally from Eldorado, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University, initially majoring in Animal Science prior to continuing his education in veterinary school. He was proud to be selected multiple years as the recipient of the Gathright Scholar Award. Dr. Harlin earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, Summa Cum Laude, in 1983, and was honored to be selected as the Outstanding Student of his class twice. Dr. Harlin is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association. He has special interests in orthopedic and general surgery, internal medicine and dentistry, but enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine.
