Yockanookany WMA, in the Central region of Mississippi, is located in Attala County near McCool.

Camping is allowed in designated areas only. AWMA Camping Permit is required for any individual or group (maximum of 6 people) that is camping on this WMA and may be purchased wherever licenses are sold. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days. Camping equipment may not be left unattended for more than 24 hours. All camping equipment and garbage must be removed before final departure.

Directions:
From the intersection of Hwy 35 and Hwy 12, in Koscuisko, go east on Hwy 12 approximately 11.2 miles to red entrance gate on right. Coming from the Starkville area on Hwy 12, from Attata county line go 9.4 miles West on Hwy 12 to red gate on left.
