Fish & Wildlife Service Decides not to List Sage Grouse Endangered
Greater sage grouse listing announcement from Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell.
"The Obama administration announced on [September 22] that the greater sage grouse, a flamboyant bird that roams across 11 Western states, does not warrant a listing as an endangered species, an action that could have damaged oil and natural gas interests and the economies of many local communities."

Maine Forest Products Council Honors Best in the Business

The esteemed Albert D. Nutting Award was given to Jim Robbins Sr. Other awards were given out for Maine's Outstanding Logger, Outstanding Forester, Outstanding Manufacturer, and the Abby Holman Public Service Award.

Wilderness Wildlife Trust Publishes its Annual Report 2015
 
Resources First Foundation's partner organization the Wilderness Wildlife Trust earlier this month published its Annual Report for 2015.

The Trust supports a wide variety of conservation projects in Africa to address the needs of existing wildlife populations, seek solutions to save endangered species and provide education for training local people and their communities.
